I am a guy that is growing my hair out, and am at a stage where it needs to be cut and styled. I love the Bob Hairstyle on women, and would like to try one myself, medium brown with carmel and blonde highlight's. I would appreciate any views. The other style that I would like to try is long in the front,and layered and fluffy from the ears back,which would be cooler for the summer. I am not sure what the name of that style is? Now that my hair has some length to it, I do like to try different things with it. All comments and advice will be appreciated, (positive and negative)Thank You, jenisis

Go for the bob hairstyle, I think they would look just as sexy on males, as well as females. I have noticed that a lot of men are growing there hair longer, I am sick of looking at all of the short blonde spikey Eminim look alikes. I think that the bob hairstyle can be very unisex, and besides hair is so much fun to play with. The highlights would be awesome, especially if you are looking for that feminine touch, which there is nothing wrong with at all, It seems that a lot of women are looking for guys of a softer type, that are comfortable with there feminine side, but I would wait till fall for the highlights, as they are hard to keep up in the summer months. Jaw length bob - surf the web and find pictures of rock bands from the 60's such as The Byrds, and you'll get an idea of how that style looks. Very feminine and appealing, so if you don't mind being mistaken for a girl......sounds like you need to invest some major bucks and visit a good stylist at a high-quality salon. Don't just go to anyone, though - do some research first, get people's opinions on good stylists and good salons in your town.

A great stylist can give you a variation on a bob without it being very feminine.
And the other style it sounds to me like you are describing is stacked bob or a "chinese bob".

it will depend what you look like and the condition of your hair, and whether you can carry it off. most guys who have long hair don't look good with it, and they don't know how to keep it styled!

yes it would with the right frame of the face and the neck.....just like on women not all look good with it depends on the neck and frame of the face
