Jesus was the light of the world, meaning, he brought understanding to what was misunderstood.
No one can go to the Father except through him, meaning, take him as an example of living your life in the glory and understanding of God.
He and the Father is one, meaning, when you have come into full understanding of God then you and God are one. In AGREEMENT and UNDERSTANDING.

What do you think?

According to Jesus’ admissions, as well as the Bible’s prophecies, Jesus of Nazareth could not have been the Messiah. This of course, would invalidate Christianity as we know it. Here are some prophecies and statements Jesus made yet they are false and have never came true.

Prophecies to Identify the Messiah, Which Jesus Does Not Fulfill:

1) Matthew 1:23 says that Jesus (the messiah) would be called Immanuel, which means "God with us." Yet no one, not even his parents, call him Immanuel at any point in the bible.

2) The Messiah must be a physical descendant of David (Romans 1:3 & Acts 2:30). Yet, how could Jesus meet this requirement since his genealogies in Matthew 1 and Luke 3 show he descended from David through Joseph, who was not his natural father because of the Virgin Birth. Hence, this prophecy could not have been fulfilled.

3) Isaiah 7:16 seems to say that before Jesus had reached the age of maturity, both of the Jewish countries would be destroyed. Yet there is no mention of this prophecy being fulfilled in the New Testament with the coming of Jesus, hence this is another Messiah prophecy not fulfilled.

That is pretty much how I understand it.
Although Jesus is the begotten of the Father, and the Father said "this is my beloved son" (something like that).

Anyway, I think that the Father is God supreme, Jesus is His Son (and therefore is God), and the Holy Ghost is a part of it also (but I do not understand). We are to glorify and worship the Father through Jesus (He paid for our sin and prays for us) and the Holy Spirit helps to lead and guide us.

I do not think that people who think that the Father, Jesus and the Holy Ghost are 1 in person will miss going to Heaven, (or those who thing of how they work together in different ways), if we seek to follow what we understand from the Bible in truth and faith.

1 Timothy 3:16:" And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."
This truly tells us that Jesus was God manifested in the flesh as Jesus Christ.
Pray unto the Lord to give you understanding and read the Bible. It is the living word of God. He tells us things through reading His word.

Instead of trying to make the bible say what you want it to, why not look up the meanings of the scriptures in the original Hebrew and Greek that it was written in? There are wonderful books available to help an English speaking person do just this. Try Strongs Exhaustive Concordance. And in answer to your question, Light = Life. No light, no life. Noone can go to the Father exept through Him means exactly that. We must go THRU CHRIST. Look it up!

If Jesus is not God, then He was just a man, like any other man, and He is dead. The death of a mortal man can't save anybody.
I believe Jesus is God incarnate. I believe He came down to men for several reasons: to teach us how to live in love (by His actions, by His teachings, and, ultimately, by His Own example), to experience temptation as a man (He was in always tempted as a man), and ultimately to sacrifice that flesh on the altar of our salvation.
I believe in a Living Lord.

1 John 5:7
7For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

John 1:14
14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
