I need a good hydration system for my back. I have looked at Camelbak and they seem to be the best available. They have silver inside to stop bacteria and I've seen someone run it over in a car without bursting. But is there anything in the world that is better or should I just get it?

I think it is one of the better systems. Anything that can keep bacteria out and is indisctructable (SP?) is worth getting. Unless there is a hot babe next to you hydrating you, there is probably nothing better.

I have a camelbak day sack which I take on days out and holidays and it is great! I also have a platypus which goes in other rucksacks and gets used on longer car journeys (really handy believe me!). The best thing about camel bak are the accessories I have a mouth piece cover (stops it getting covered in dirt!) and a driying thing which is also good. Neither have leaked on me in th past.

I'll echo an earlier post about Campmor. I've used platypus, CamelBack and Hydropak. I like the Hydropak best fo ease of filling and cleaning, but the CamelBack bite valve works best.

You should check out Campmor, they have better prices then a lot of the bigger stores.

I bought a Camelback for use in the winter, but returned it for insulated bottles. But if you really need something to wear, the Camelback looked good. Good luck! =D
