Sometimes they do. I bought organic bananas a couple months ago that were green and had to wait nearly a month for them to ripen.

Basically all plants have some sort of hormone in their system, i think its either absicic acid (dont worry its not a bad acid), or like ethylene and these cause ur fruits to ripen. Most likely, harvesters have been spraying these chemicals on to ur bananas in hopes of making them ripen faster.

I don't ever have that problem. I buy mine at HEB or SuperWalmart and get two ripe ones t eat the fist two days and the rest green. So I do not know what to tell you. Maybe you should get the produce man to help you pick them out next time.

properly i think of so,perhaps no longer "ripen",yet exterior or environmental motives(and of course medical).existence passes so quickly for all yet greater for others.occasion i'm a 35 12 months previous lady with dissimilar Sclerosis...My infants fairly my oldest is a techniques previous her sixteen yrs because of the fact she has taken care of me for over 2 years now.She has had to take over most of the kinfolk obligations.It has made her improve up mentally.
