The system of ethics are the way you decide what is right and what is wrong. You must first have a value you place as the highest value, such as your life, your community, your church, your children, your stomach, your bank account etc. Then you will know how to make choice. Trade up for that highest value.
Christian ethics teaches that the highest value is self sacrifice, so you must always trade your life away for someone else. Your life is the lowest value you have. Nice huh?
Cancer has the same ethic.

A religion is a group that worships one or more deity, by means of theology, rites and ceremonies that are agreed upon by the group.
Ethics is the study (and practice) of what is good.
There is some overlap between theology and ethics. That is, some religions incorporate ethics into its theology. Other religions have ethics as theology but not always practice it. And people who follow no religion may have studied and practiced ethics.

Your religion is your faith in someone and you live your life accordingly to be true to them. The head of your religion you would praise and celebrate their life. Ethics is a moral code you live by to what is right and ethically acceptable in society.

Some religion is just an explanation for what is. People are not intelligent enough to answer complicated questions on their own. The do not understand fact, so they turn to religion. They say have faith, that means don't think, just believe what you are told. Many create, or use religion to control others. Most religions were mad to gain political support and power for a few people. They say they know what god wants, and if you are with them, you are with god. That is why they say if you are not with them you will suffer a bad fate(hell). Some religions even say god wants you to give them your money (like 10% each year).Religion is a trap for those that have a weak mind. I say don't fall for it.
