FOS is the fundraising side for the BSA. The way FOS works is that all funds raised in a Council and District stay in that area.
I am in the Longhorn Council and the Trinity Trails District of that Council.
You would need to check with a local Council to get figures on monies raised since it does not go to the BSA as a whole but stays in the area the monies were donated in.

Back in the 80's the scouts where funded by sponsors, Levi and Wells Fargo where two major sponsors. Both of them stop sponsoring the scouts becuase the scouts would not let Gays be in the leadership since the boys where getting raped. This mad Levis and Wells Fargo stop sponsorship and the friends of scouts started funding them. I have not bought a pair of Levi's jeans since.

"Friends of Scouting" is a organization protesting BSA's membership policies. There is no real scouting with the FOS.

What statistics are you looking for? You won't find a ton of info on-line about how much is raised or how it is used. Most of it stays in your council, however, and they might publish a financial report you can mine for data if you ask nicely.
