No, it doesn't make sense. It's another (of many) reasons people have non-belief. Why would anyone want to believe in a higher power that would punish them, even if they were good people and led very positive lives, just because they didn't acknowledge the existence of or worship that higher power? Not appealing to think the common example of a god is thinking "I don't care how wonderful you are, since you won't bow to me I'm gonna punish you". *shakes head*

Satan indeed has the ability to blind people, that is true. However, the Bible does state it is better to not know the truth of the Lord, than to know the truth and turn away. I think that is what you are meaning, so yes, I guess the Lord does have a solution for your hypothetical question! God Bless!

Yes! Satan is responsible for all the false religion that floods this world. He has blinded the people to such an extent that this entire world is full of many non-believers.
But when God judges, he will JUDGE THE BELIEVER BY HIS FAITH
AND THE NON BELIEVER BY HIS WORKS.
By nature, all religions have some morals of righteous conduct. One does not need to be a Christian to have these righteous morals.

God is a Just and Fair and True God. It doesn't say anywhere in the Bible about people being decieved by Satan going to hell and being banned from God. As a Christian, I admit I fail to be perfect on a daily basis. Does that mean i'm going to hell? Nope. And for many people who actually KNOW Christ and choose NOT to follow him, that is their OWN choice. That has nothing to do with deception. Good try.

You may look at it from the stand point of Satan being a con artist. Con artist fool people into stuff and they have to suffer the consequences, fair or not. Like you said we all are responsible for our decisions, best we carefully check to be sure we are making the right ones.

Yes, it is actually fair that they get punished.
Why?
Even if they didnt know that there was the truth, we deserved death since we were born. It's natural for humans to sin.
But, every day, there is always someone that would tell you what the truth is. The thing is, they're just not seeing it.
In fact, a lot of people ignore it or scoff at it. The creator even gave his son to die for all, just so we may live forever. But still, not all believe in this.
They deserve the utmost punishment of the allmighty creator himself.
But why don't they die then, if they deserve hell?
Because God is a God of second chances. He doesn't want anyone to writhe in hell. He wants everyone to live with him in heaven.
It's called grace - not getting something that you deserve. Especially hell.

You have a good point and the reason I say this is that God/Jesus know how powerful Satan is. Much more powerful than humans on earth. So, if he is that powerful over us, that really isn't fair if we fall to his trap. How are we to be strong enough to fight him? THAT IS AN EXCELLENT QUESTION. I do believe in God/Jesus too.

heres a question ive asked what if satan is the good guy and the God of the bible the bad guy? I ask this because the bible God is cruel jeaouls vengeful and vindictive. and God doesnt change. thats why christians say ignore the bible God and focus on Jesus however you cannot focus on Jesus when his daddy is so horrible. like father like son maybe?

People like to blame someone or something for about everything that goes wrong in their life. The word of God says....God will give them a strong delusion that they should believe a lie because they have not a love for the truth. If you have a bible it is in 2 Thessalonians chapter 2,read it for yourself.
