A reactor is a vessel where a chemical reaction takes place inside when different substances are mixed.
The vessel must be designed to meet pressure, temperature, and corrosion generated by the reaction.
Other important key factors in the design of the reactor are Lift Lugs, Legs/Skirt/Saddles, Insulation, Coils, Trays, Etc.

It's not a nuclear reactor, it's just a vessel that contains a particular chemical reaction. It will have a method to input the required chemicals, to discharge the resultant reacted mixture, controls and gauges, and maybe a catalyst or cooling/heating as required for the reaction.
