You've got to be joking. Show me anywhere in the USA where you can be safe today in this wonderful world we live in today.
Your next door neighbor could be a rapist and you'd never know... until he's caught. The guy across the street could be a child molester and you'd never know... until he's caught. Safe neighborhood. I don't think there is such a place.

Go to your local precinct they normally have a chart with all the crimes that happen in the pass years you’ll be able to see if its on the raise or not. And normally it’s a view only per request.

google the zip code and type in city facts for that zip it should show up or at least6 links will show up for it

You could also call the police department and ask for the stats.
