Fine arts are the methods of doing art, fine arts canvas is one of the tools used to achieve an effect.

I'm guessing that you are talking about the name of the blank canvas in an art store. "Fine Art" is suggesting that it is of better quality than "Student Grade."

Fine Arts are the use of the tools which are used to paint the picture of your life, or the picturisation of your thoughts, or your perceptions of an event or an object on a canvass which projects the canvass of your life as you see it.
The canvass of your life can also be projected by using your voice and garnished by the use of your fingers on the keyboards to create music.
So the fine art canvass is in effect the display of your inner visions and emotions across a wide spectrum of canvasses created for the viewer or the listener or the thinker or the lover of those emotions projected in the canvass for the lovers of fine art to appreciate and sing about
