God will help all those that needs his help (that would be everyone then) even when they don't realise that they need his help or ask for it. Sometimes we don't even realise that (when you are having a problem) is was God that helped you through it. He will never put something in your way that He knows you won't be able to beat.

Our God is all Meciful and selective Merciful. All merciful -tp all mankind irregardless of faith - in this world. Selective Mercy is an exclusive reserve for His devotee on the Day of Judgement.
For examples rain fall on all without regard, sun shines on all, wealth is bestowed without regard, chuldren is given to whomever he wills. etc
