God denotes the deity believed by monotheists to be the sole creator and ruler of the universe. This deity is said to be the ruler of Heaven, Heaven is an afterlife concept found in many religions or spiritual philosophies. Buddha teaches that their are no creator gods just higher forms of consciousness so in a since God is in you.

In the scriptures it is mentioned that the entire universe is in the palms of his hands - like a film of dust on the scales.
Even heaven of heavens cannot contain Him. So he lives somewhere beyond it.
Jesus said - God does not dwell in a temple made with hands - and on another occasion he said - The temple of God is Holy - which temple ye are.

At its most microscopic - everything is pure energy.
God is that pure energy,
God is everything! - everything you are, everything you see, hear, think and do, IS God. God is the whole of creation right back to the beginning of time.
So God lives within and God is all around us.

God is transcendental, so He doesn't live in Heaven.
Besides He is everywhere, He, being a Personality, has His own abode called Vishnuloka or Goloka.
"From the highest planet in the material world down to the lowest, all are places of misery wherein repeated birth and death take place. But one who attains to My abode, O son of Kunti, never takes birth again." Bg 8.16
"That supreme abode of Mine is not illuminated by the sun or moon, nor by fire or electricity. Those who reach it never return to this material world." Bg 15.6

The most disconcerting thing about _GOD_ is that He takes ya at YOUR word = don't push that RED button to find out how big a kah-boom you'll end up with.
A CAUTION sign, if you will.
It's all about RESPECT, and knowing how far we're allowed to stray. The record shows the majority never care to learn it.
Respect sh-mespect you may say.
Yet, just as we are what we eat, we also become what we believe.

God is a DJ, which I guess means he staggers his time between his decks, motorway service stations and looking in the mirror. In between feeding fishfinger sandwiches to thousands and creating universes, obviously.
