Because raw milk may contain dangerous microorganisms for our health, that are destroyed with the pasteurization.
This procedure was designed to achieve a
5-log reduction in the number of viable microorganisms in milk. This is considered adequate for destroying almost all yeasts, mold, and common spoilage bacteria and also to ensure adequate destruction of common pathogenic heat-resistant organisms (including particularly Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which causes tuberculosis and Coxiella burnetii, which causes Q fever).

itz gud for ur skin if u apply raw milk on ur skin. but itz harmful if u drink raw milk!

Think about it.....there is bacteria that our bodies can't handle. It needs to be pasturized if we are going to drink high amounts of it.
