Try to relax by doing anything that makes u feel good about yourself..it could be any hobbies that u have or read a good book or watering plants or meditating...anything...
whatever tensions u have wouldnot go away if u keep thinking about them..tuck them into some corner and feel confident that u can take care of them when the time comes...

Tensions can also be relieved through exercise. Go for a walk in a peaceful place - beach, park, hike a mountain trail. Ride a bike in similar places. Plan a project around your house & make it happen. Sometimes reaching "outside" yourself is better to relieve stress rather than hiding in a room by yourself taking the others advice. If it's anxiety you're talking about, try St. John's Wort.
