I no its hard huni, but myabe it was for the best. You said yourself that both of you were hurting, so maybe letting go off each other is what you both need. It's the hardest thing ever to give up somebody you love, but something positive will come out of it. Maybe you both just need a break from each other, meet and explore new people. If the love is heart felt and real, then he'll come back to you.

Hard as it may be, face facts. He left you. He's gone to a different state. End of story. I wouldn't advise you to get in touch with him or to ask for a reason why. Leave him well alone, and do you know what, he'll be curious why you haven't contacted him and he'll be in touch. Then you can say in your most happiest voice.
Piss off you fool.

Some guys are like bees, they flit from one flower to another thinking each flower is really special. Girls are more loyal, that's why they are easier hurt. Read the Venus and Mars books by John Gray.

it isnt always easy to maintain a close tie with someone far away. the other problem with some people when they are hurt they burn their bridge and never come back. for reason of pride or anger or embarrassment they will not. it depends on the person and how they react to the situation. sorry you had your heart broken :(

Easy....he may well love you but the fact is he just doesn't love you enough.
Be strong, don't waste time being down about it. He's done you a favour....now you have time to focus on yourself and your future....may people in bad relationships would kill to be in your situation of freedom and opportunity.
Remember, you choose what the events that happen to you mean to you.
Good luck!

Well if he felt himself getting too close and got scared it would be a commitment issue. If he felt you would be better off without him then he let you go for your own benefit (as he perveived it) maybe you wanted different things in the future and he realised that as much as he loves you he cant give up his own dreams or let you give up on yours

Stress of a relationship can cause fear. He didn't know what to say,
he didn't know how to say it. That still doesn't give him the excuse to up and leave. One day he might, If he loves you he regrets his decision. If more counseling is needed contact me.

You need to sit down and talk to him... Sounds like there are other issues that have set him on this course...
