I tried to use it and my virus software made me remove it because of spy ware. dont use it.

Limewire is a file sharing proram. Be careful! Sometimes you choose something to download and when you open it...ooops!!! you'll got a mess in your pc. It happened to me, i used it a lot, but several times i got viruses from there. Is has an advantage though, the download is very, very fast!! comparing it with e-mule or edonkey. I didn't have problems downloading mp3 files, but i did have trouble when i download programs.

It's a file sharing program. I used it, you can pick up viruses and other nasty computer things from it because, essentially, you are copying a file from someone else's computer

it isnt illegal, it is P2P file sharing software but sometimes when u download files through it, they may carry viruses!
