You are missing the big picture that separates Christianity from other religions.

Christianity teaches man is saved by faith alone and good works is a response to that gift of salvation.

Other religions teaches that man is saved by good works and faith. Salvation is earned not given

I'm sorry to say but all religions are definitely not the same. There have been many divisions from the Church and many other religions that have started that are no where near the true faith(satanism). Try to change the world by sticking the true Church.

We the HINDUS are not at all worried about these differences. because the SANSKRIT verse says

AKAASATH PATHITHAM THOYAM YATHA KUTCHATHI SAGARAM , SARVA DEVA NAMASKARAM SRI KESAVAM PRATHI GATCHATHI.

JUST like how the rain water which falls from the sky reach the sea, same way what ever god one may worship and pray , all such prayers reach the LORD KRISHNA(KESAVA).

In HINDU religion we have several thousand gods and all join in all such worships without any drop in devotion(ofcourse there are some staunch devotees who have less tolerance to other their own God)

I think fundamentally the ideals of all religeons are the same. However, politicians interfere and can use religeon to control 'the masses' into doing what they want.
I also think that the failure of religeons to recognise and accept alternative religeons exist contributes to friction in society

people get caught up on the small intricacies of the beliefs to cause drama. drama is stimulating. that is the true feeling of being alive on earth. in other words you have to live thru everything to realize it for yourself and most people just accept someone else's perception of that and continue living their own life unaware of what actually is occuring and ignorant to the unfolding process of consciousness
