understand that you wont produce good result if your body is exhausted and under stress. must find way to relax, prioritize your tasks, and work effectively. creativity is the key for successfull software engineer. without it you are just wasting time, and stressed software engineer is not a preferable choice. take a break, list your priority and focus, exercise regularly and get enough sleep. throw away things beyond your control boundary...

Be thankful for what you have. I spent 5 years in prison for some BS that I did not do and instead of staying pissed at the "system" I realized I could do nothing and the stress left. I worked on everything I could control or things I have "say" over. Try going to college. Your daughter is and always will be your daughter. Forget the ex. It is easy, we make things in life hard. Smile. Look at the positive in everything, like at least your ex talks to your daughter, at least righting wrongs is positive, you got to own a house, we have laws even if some are BS imagine if murder was legal, you got to own a business, you still have 30% of your home, we have a government, picture anarcy where immigrants were shot on site, at least you have the option to watch the news or have a TV. Good luck in your journey.
