why holocaust is not a legend? there isn't any approved evidence about it. so we shouldn't approve its a legend who believe in it should approve it's true. but in my idea I think Hitler was a mad man and he might do any stupid crime but not as many people as they say. I can't believe these statistics and also it's very strange why some countries pay a lot of attention to Holocaust and governments which always state that there is democracy in their country and everybody can say what he want send to jail who deny and talk against it. It's very doubtful.

The Holocaust is not a legend or a story.
It is history.
While there are people who would prefer to deny that the Holocaust occurred -- usually, if not always, for antisemitic reasons -- the vast majority of people recognize that the Holocaust is fact, not fiction.
I would recommend that you speak with some survivors, but --oops! -- you live in a country with the stated goal of destroying Israel, denying the Holocaust happened, and murdering Jews. Too bad.

Those who still insist that 'The Holocaust' is somehow not historical fact are either truly stupid or have been brainwashed by some anti-Semitic neo-nazi white supremacist organization, who would like to believe that its all a Jew conspiracy, but the sad fact of the matter is that Nazi Germany, under the direction of Heinrich Himmler exterminated upwards of 6,000,000 Jews and ANOTHER 6,000,000 gentiles because they didn't fit in with the notion of 'Aryan supremacy'... this was commonly known as "The Final Solution" and was carried out with ruthless efficiency by lots of folks all across Germany in places like Treblinka, Buchenwald and especially Auschwitz (murder factory) inside Nazi occupied territory from as early as 1940 up until the Allies came in in 1945. In the five years this went on there were about1,800 days.... 12 Million (non-combat) killed in 1,800 days! Do the math! It is normal to despise the Nazis for there actions, but you have to admire their efficiency.

Legend? If by a false or made up story it's not. Sadly, it's true. The soldiers who first found the camps were battle hardened fighters, who were accustumed to removing fragments of humans from their uniforms. The human having been closer to them than brothers. The same man, upon seeing the death camps was reduced to tears. Weeping at the sight of what the nazis did to those people. Kinda tells you how horrible it really was. (were jews, catholics, gypsys, etc in the camps, not just jews.)

Many people unfortunately are convinced that it was a hoax. You've probably found websites that talk about this.
fun fact: Mel Gibson's (the actor) father is one of those people.
