There really is no mystery to the Bermuda Triangle. It's simply not that dangerous.....

Please read "The Bermuda Triangle Mystery: Solved" by Kische. The author came to a few well-supported conclusions, such as :

* The number of ships and airplanes reported missing in the area was not significantly greater, proportionally speaking, than any other part of the ocean.
* In an area frequented by tropical storms, the number of disappearances that did occur was neither disproportionate, unlikely, nor mysterious.
* The numbers themselves had been exaggerated by sloppy research. A boat listed as missing would be reported, but not necessarily its eventual, if belated, return to port.
* The circumstances of confirmed disappearances were frequently misreported in Berlitz's accounts. The numbers of ships disappearing in supposedly calm weather, for instance, did not tally with weather reports published at the time.

Lloyd's of London, the marine insurer, has also detrmined that the area is statistically no more dangerous than other areas of the Ocean. The US Coast Guard supports this.

Yeah, I wonder the same thing since we have satellites that can zoom down and create super-clear imagery of objects, even from space. I'll bet the government knows the mystery but isn't telling us! Some theorized that in the triangle there is a huge, two-piece mirror that reflects the sky off of it and makes pilots think they are flying upside-down, and so when they adjust they actually fly right into the water! Of course, if it were true, I don't know why anyone would invent something like that...
