My hair is naturally wavy. When I wash it let it air dry, everything's normal. But when I blowdry it, it seems like waves just disappear - my hair almost isn't wavy at all. Why does that happen? I can't let it air dry during the winter.

cause you're messing it up... you won't get the same result, but if yu want some shape twist it or braid it, it'll take longer to dry even with a hair dryer but it'll have some waves. I drip dry evne in the winter, cause weh I give up and use a hair dryer I get massive split ends and frizzy hair days. If I get it to the point where it's jus damp I'll put it up in two busn and let it out when I get indoors than it's wavy with one bun it's mostly straight waves.

I have curly hair as well and know what you're going through. All you need is a good hair product and a diffuser for your blowdryer. Use an anti-frizz serum (John Freida, Redken, etc.) and then use the diffuser. Instead of blasts of air shooting out from the blowdryer, you just get the warm air - it doesn't ruin or distort your curl and your hair will dry fast, and your curls remain in place. I also find that I get more volume by using the diffuser.

You need to use a curl enhancer cream and a diffuser. Don't touch the hair...that will cause frizz, just use the diffuser and let the air dry the curls the way they are. I f you use a cream instead of a moose or gel it will make your waves touchable without adding crunch. Try aveda be curly or kerastase chroma protect.

Heat with a blow dryer comb will straighten your out, during the winter if you want to keep your hair wavy put some gel on it .then blow dry it without a comb or brush.

its ok.... the heat creats problem... it damages hair.. so take care... and it doesnt take much to make the hair dry in air also... juat b calm.. 5 mins of wait for tht hair to dry is much more important than look weird or WITHOUT hair. think 'bout it....
