Hell is not a place, but a state of Godless existence without truth, reason, logic, or continuity.
This is where humanity exists without enlightenment. In a godless, truthless, amoral, irrational existence without meaning, people become depressed, manic, anxious, afraid, angry, irritated, and in pain both spiritual, physical, and emotional.
Hell is a place where there is no reason, no truth, no morality, no law, no compassion, no justice.
Hell is what we are born into, and Heaven is what we can create if we can overcome ignorance and fear and selfishness and subjectivism.
I do not see an almighty and forgiving God creating a place such as a burning lake of fire for all eternity. What would happen? Would we feel pain and irritation of the physical senses? It would seem incredibly unfeeling of God to do such a thing to his loved Creation.
Hell is a place humanity chooses to go, by rejecting morality, truth, compassion, selflessness, and logic. It is a state of despair and ignorance and insanity where the only return is enlightenment, but such a thing cannot be achieved unless the correct path is chosen.
You choose your destiny because of free will. God allows you to choose Him, or to go against him. Since we have all sinned, we have all gone against Him. You had better believe we are already in Hell if this is true, because our only way to heaven is through admission of guilt and asking forgiveness. We must seek to bring God back to this world ourselves.
If God wished to conquer this world and turn it into heaven on his own, he could. He has not done so.
He wants us to create heaven here, and ask him to return. He wants us to choose correctly.
There is no hell but what we create for ourselves.

Wow. My answer would be ummm let me think NO. Woman was created as a companion for man, without which man would not be complete. Every separate human being has a soul. If you think so lowly of women, maybe you have known some sorry ones- this is unfortunate. Many women distrust men as well, but that doesn't make them all bad. Any creature that God took time to create should be respected. Read the bible with your heart, not your mind- and leave behind these strange imaginings that don't even begin to be a good theory.

A physical hell does not exist. The word "hell" in the Bible was a symbolic term, and Jesus was comparing some deaths of individuals to a landfill that the whole city would dump garbage into. It burned constantly to get rid of the waste, and Jesus was comparing this area to "hell," which simply meant a death in which God would not remember an individual. When God "remembers" an individual is when their course of life makes them hopeful of a resurrection, which will not take place until theocracy* is returned. (*When God rules directly over humankind as once was, and is told in the Bible.) I hope I'm not being too "preachy." This is just what I was taught.

I'm not sure. I have thought about it a lot. Jews don't believe there is a hell. I wonder. Not everything in the Bible is meant literally.
Example: If your right hand offends you, cut it off. If people took that literally there would be a lot of people walking around with one hand. But right after that scripture is one that says ' It's better to go into heaven maimed than to have all your body parts and burn in hell.'
Now if I didn't take it as literal to cut off offending parts of my body why would I then take a burning fire for all eternity literally?
If there is one I'm sure I'm not going there. Because " I know in whom I have believed and He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day."

I've always considered heaven as being above the earth, in another plane of existance. So I think hell would be below the earth, in another plane of existance.

I don't believe that Hell is a place at all. I think of it as a state of being. Hell applies to me specifically like Nirvana applies to Toaists. Hell is the place of sinners. If you can understand that most sins are based in human nature and bring you emotional happiness, then Hell is an emotional state where you are content. If you can't devorce yourself from the guilt of sin but still sin, then you'll be in Hell and be tormented.

Heel is the state of your consciousness. Find out who you are and all answers of this type will be answered.
And yes, in a manner, it does exist but that is not the point of the creation. Hell and heaven are serving only as balance forces for the creation - like the weather.

Yes hell dose exist, but not in earth. It is so huge that it could take billions of people, those unbelievers since the creation of Man with a lot of space for each one of them ...he needs to jump and run and scream.....

In the eighteen spiritual layers, Heaven is top most layer, earth on the 9th and hell the lowest (i.e. 18th). Just like stairs with good deed you walk up and with a bad one you walk down. Depends on the number wether you reach top layer, bottom layer or anything amidst.
