surely this should read 'why do human(s) make mistakes' - a mistake in itself which is a fantastic way to ask a question about miststeaks ( I did that on purpose) . Anyway - It wasn't eating the apple that was the real problem - it was listening to the snake - big mistake - at least we have learned that - not many people going around listening to snakes any more - plenty eating apples however - so it seems we're on the right track - one down one to go .

Because we're human. Adam and Eve did not eat an apple, They ate the fruit from the tree of knowlege, because satan tricked Eve into believing that God did not want her to be as smart as Him, so she believed satan and ate the fruit. No where in the bible does it call that fruit an apple. Satan makes people sin and be weak in their faith by lying to them and decieving them. He did it with Adam and Eve, and he is still doing it today.Adam and Eve could have eaten any fruit from any of the other trees, but the fruit from the one God specifically said no to. They disobeyed God becasue of satan's lies.

we're all sinners, plus none of us are perfect & we all make mistakes.
yes, adam & eve disobeyed the lord & this is why we all sin. all of us have choices to make in life whether it be good or bad.
we choose good, then we reap good. if we choose bad, then we have consequences to face & suffer for.
we should all know right from wrong.
even though we all mistakes daily, there's a heavenly father up in heaven that will forgive us.
all we have to do is ask god for forgiveness & repent. to repent is to turn away from, turn from sin, that which is wrong & unpleasing to god.
we can't take god's mercy, grace, love & forgiveness for granted though. 1st time forgiving is forgiven/forgotten. any other time for the same thing will be forgiven/judged under law. god won't keep forgiving us for the same sin due to the fact that it is intentional then unintentional. god knows our hearts, better then we do.
we're human & we all make mistakes. in the bible it says that there's no one perfect , no not one but only jesus christ.

Our very existence is owed to 'mistakes'... If DNA were perfectly replicated each and every time a cell divides there would be no such thing as evolution. We cannot hope to learn and improve without making mistakes. Shakespeare said it best, "To err is human..."

"When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her jusband with her, and he ate." (Genesis 3:6)
Eve decided that Satan was telling the truth when he told her, "You surely will not die! For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil," and she misunderstood God, but she didn't know what she was doing. It was not overt rebellion against God, but seduction and deception to make her believe her act was the right thing to do. Eve was decieved and Adam commited a direct transgression without deception. Satan, emboldened by Eve's openness to him, spoke this direct lie ("...not die!"). This lie actually led her and Adam to spiritual death (seperation from God). So, Satan is called a liar and murderer from the begining. His lies always promise great benefits. Eve experienced this result--she and Adam did know good and evil; but by personal corruption, they did not know as God knows in perfect holiness.
Humans became sinners by nature. Adam passed to all his descendants the inherent sinful nature he possessed because of his first disobedience. That nature is present from the moment of conception, making it impossible for man to live in a way that pleases God. Satan, the father of sin, first brought temptation to Adam and Eve. When Adam sinned, all mankind sinned in his loins. Since his sin trasformed his inner nature and brought spiritual death and depravity, that sinful nature would be passed on seminally to his posterity as well.
Hope this helps!

Because its human nature to make mistake and learn from it. As humans we are naturally curious, and want to find out what will happen if we do this or that.

Thru catholics, we are not perfect because Adam and Eve made the first sin to God and that's the story. And I am a catholic, so i am making no insult

1. because we are imperfect
2. it's part of the learning process
Their mistake wasn't just in eating the apple, but also the lack of repentance and the deception.
