Well, there's this song that I wanna listen to over and over again. I can't get it off my mind. Then I wish I was at school and think of stuff that is in school. Then I got a crush and can't stop thinking about her Which is weird, by the way. The idea that crushes are caused by chemical reactions should disgust me. Well, I stil have a crush. Oh joy. Then I think about how it's a chemical reaction then it leads to something then crushes then the brain then asudoindhuf I can't sleep

This is a trick I use when I really just can't sleep. I start with the letter A and think of every word I can that starts with that letter. If it's a proper name, that's OK. Just any word at all. I'm not strict about the rules. When I just can't think of another one, I go on to B, and so on. I never get past about F. This game is pretty boring, but it's just interesting enough to keep your mind off the other stuff until you fall asleep. Never fails.

And you might want to lay off the coffee. ;)

I have the same problem. Mine is compounded with hormonal disruptions. I also have a lot of anxiety at night. It's a pain in the ***, and prescription sleeping pills helped for awhile. Now they don't and I still can't sleep.

Some people find help through meditation and relaxation techniques, eliminating caffeine six hours before bed time, eating dinner earlier, using your bed only to sleep in, getting rid of distractions in your bed room and exercise.

If none of this crap helps, then I would suggest a psychiatrist for some pharmaceutical sleep aids.

there is a herbal remedy company interesting enough - i will find it back home when i return - just remember to email me if you are interested to remind me of my finding it!

There is always, however, the grandma remedy here: a cup of hot milk with a teaspoon of honey...

Used it, it worked!

Another insomniac here in Greece...

Call your crush up. Right now. Tell them to GET OVER THEMSELVES and then hang up. Then laugh all night and you'll be over it.
