both expressions are absolutely correct although 'cheat' is the one that's used more widely.

A person who cheats is a cheater, and most likely will always be a cheater. The cheater if confronted will most likely also be a liar to keep from being caught as a cheater!!!!!!!!!! But if the cheater is a bad liar, not only will you know that person is a cheater and was engaged in the act of cheating, that person will also be know as a liar. And there is nothing worse than a liar that will cheat.

Officially the question should have been posted on the"Language" section... but for what it worth here is the answer.
Cheater- One who cheats in the course of leading his/ her life.... whether at a test, or a game, or in a relationship.
A cheat ( when used as a noun and not a verb)- someone who cheats for a living. The prime occupation of the person is to cheat people for his gains- Monetary or otherwise.

perchance shes merely putting forward that because she had made a mistake , and individuals do make mistakes yet that's the position you may be careful . in case you prefer to stay which includes her then by ability of all ability stay which includes her yet dont provide her all of your believe so right now, you understand what they are putting forward once a cheater continuously a cheater . merely let her earnings your believe again and make effective she doesnt do it again and please dont let her walk throughout you. maximum appropriate believe if she cheats on you again as a lot because it hurts be reliable about it and go away because no human being it quite is honest to their loved ones advantages to be cheated on. i once cheated on my boyfriend even though it quite is because we were given right into a wrestle and he had instructed me to do you and we didnt talk for a pair of days i idea we were damaged up yet he says we never did and he didnt recommend that , and all i did replaced into kiss somebody else. and that i'm very in love with my boyfriend so i never spoke or did some thing with that different guy and ive been very honest because that then so no longer all women are "cheaters" and in the adventure that they cheat they understand that what they did is horribly incorrect and they comprehend who they prefer to be with. she loves you and obviously should be with you so forgive her and take her again if it really is what your heart tells you yet dont let her believe that she will do although she needs and damage out with it. 2 wrongs dont make a suitable so please dont get revenge and cheat on her again with the aid of the undeniable fact that can make the project worse and make you seem immature , desire i helped :)

This one belongs to the Language section. Both of you are right in your own might (read countries). Cheat is noun as well as verb and I guess this confusion gave rise to the new noun cheater which is also in practice.

cheat is usually only used as a verb these days, a cheater is the one doing the cheating. maybe it's a weird dialect thing, but she is probably more right than you are, if you are at all.

Both are right. Look at your own question.
Cheater is a noun. Cheat is a verb.
