I have taken in 2 orphaned puppies. I have been bottle feeding and they are eating great, however, I am a little concerned about one of them. She seems to have a hard time going to the bathroom and a warm cotton ball is not working anymore. It has been about 2 days since she has deficated. Is there anything i can give her to help her along?

i would take them to the vet, maybe there is something wrong, maybe the vet might know of someone who has a nursing dog who might be persuaded to take in your orphaned puppies.

Plenty of water and feed her only PUPPY food. Cow milk made my doggy constipated so I tried a little canned food mixed with the dry puppy food and the problem ended in 1 day. Can't feed the puppy too much of the moist canned food (at least in my doggie's case) because then they can have diarrhea.

If the problem continues, take her to the vet.

Call the vet. This pup is too young to be using otc meds on. Also if the vet does know of a nursing dog, it would be much better for the pups. Mother's milk provides not only the correct formula, but also provides an immunity to diseases for the pups.

Call a vet and ask if there is a formula or food you can give the puppy to soften her stool and help regulate her movements. She also needs to be checked for worms.
