No being gay is not a big issue now. Before about 3 or 4 years ago it was but not anymore. Out in the streets we see more and more gay people pretty soon it's going to be totally normal. What happens is there's alot of people who are to ignorant and don't want to face reality that the world is changing and then there are guys who think there to machos to accept gay men. You shouldn't feel sad life is too damn short to worry about what people think. Long live Gays and Lesbians! I support them all!

I guess we can be sad for a number of reason? Some people are sad about gays. Some people are sad about non gay people.

If you are out of the closet, you should know how you are treated. I can hear Leviticus or Paul being quoted about your lifestyle.

But you knew this because for you being gay is a big issue. It is your life.

to most people i think it is a big issue. Iam not against it. If that is how someone is i think they cant help it. Some people think that they choose to be the way they are. I think it has nothing to do with choosing. Some people love to judge also! It hurts i know! I get judged alot from my own mom shes always judging and making me feel like crap sometimes. I dont even allow her in the house because all she does is judges it and tells me you need to do that and this. She loves to put me down! Anyway good luck and if you need someone to talk to send me a im!

First off, your gay because you were born that way. If anyone tells you different, f*** them. Second, it is only an issue to people who care about what happens to celebrities and read magazines like InTouch weekly or Star. And third, it is who you are, be happy, at least you know that you are gay. Many people are confused. Who cares what other people think, if they care, they are unhappy with their own lives, at least you should be happy with yours!

It's only a big issue if you make it a big issue. Don't be sad about what people think about you. Just live your own life and be happy with yourself.

i say is a very big isue, generated by emotional instability, and should be treated as one... ona mental level, caused by abuse, or neglection in childhood... of complexes and other ****.. no one has been born gay... because the sexuality only grows over 13 years old...

i advise u to try to fix ur problem, not to accept it..
u have the power to....
and if u want to see how bad is being gay....
ask a priest about
Sodoma and Gomora...
and he'll explain everything on a higher level, he will probbaly tell u why u are gay too..
he'll help..
but go to a catholic one.. idk if the other religions have studied the bible before moses,...
so..
Good Luck

Gay is only about who you like to take to bed and where you like to poke.

Other than that GAYS ARE JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE!

Don't get too discouraged. One day, hopefully soon, people will be enlightened enough to look past race, gender, gay/straight, religion and all the petty things that divide us, and just see a HUMAN BEING.

I think that if you dont make it a big issue and are more than just a gay person, it is fine. My daughter is gay, and she adapted.

no its not. people are so brainwashed to think a specific way. if your comfortable with who you are and the decisions youve made in life then thats all that matters. people who think something is wrong with it and make it a point of putting down people who are gay usually have issues with themselves that they need to sort out, too insecure about themselves to acknowledge or accept various types of people. your gay, and the fact your comfortable with it is awesome.
