I am not blaming you but, if he was an illegal that should have been a red flag. I do however know that sometimes love can cloud judgment. His taunts and admission as to his motive for marrying you are admissible in court and easily enough reason to warrant a divorce. Just try to remember, you are losing a cheater a liar and a person who is emotionally and verbally abusive. His loss is far greater than your ever will be.

How old are you? My daughter is also in love with an illegal immigrant and I tell her constantly to let him go because it can come to no good, but she won't listen to me. She is 23 and I can see her being you one of these days. Did your mama or anyone else warn you about this man's intentions before and, if so, what did you say to them then? Perhaps, you said, "But I love him and he loves me and we HAVE to be together!" If so, I guess you have made your bed. My young daughter's determination to be with this person literally sickens me. He is 32 years old and from Honduras. He was deported in December and swears he is returning within the next couple months and I can't help but hope something happens to him along the way - he has to come up through Guatemala, Mexico, USA, and then to Canada. I hope he doesn't make it and I am not a mean person who would normally wish bad on anyone, but he is going to condemn my daughter to a hopeless future and so I don't want him to make it back here. I'm sorry if I offend anyone on here with my wishes as a mother, but I think if you consider that if this was your daughter, you would not want this for her, either.

You don't have to stay with someone who abuses you.
It is not that complicated. Just don't lie for him on his papers or anyone who asks for him.
The truth is the best way to go-starting now.
Have you some place of your own? If not womens shelters (not pleasant) will help you get started a lot faster than you can usually do on your own. Otherwise its means you must start a quick savings. Can you sell anything?
Don't stay . Start anew without him. And he is not your worry (its his). He will only treat you the way You let him.
Best Wishes

Go to the immigration office in your area. Let them know what is going on. They are very interested in fraud of this sort. They will pick him up and start the deportation process. See if you can get the marriage annulled.

Divorce him ASAP on the grounds of infidelity or domestic abuse. And inform BCIS of your intent of withdrawing your petition because he admitted to you that he is only marrying in order to be legalized. Divorce proceedings takes time, and BCIS needs documentation in order to facilitate your requests. And be sure that this is what you really want to do-because there is no turning back.

girl...if he doesn't love you back the way you love him...leave him by all means...in some countries, there are no divorce...be glad you can divorce this man in your country so that you will not live your life in misery... leave him as early as now so that you can live your life...I know it's painful to leave someone you love but at the same time you should love yourself first...

A lawyer can help you with your options. If he received his Resident ID (Green Card) soley from your marriage, it will be revoked/cancelled I believe.

I'd beat the living hell outta him then call imagration while he was uncontious and tell them he lied he just wanted his papers. see he needs you more than you need him. you can pull the plug and have him deported.
