I know Canon and JVC have some in this price range but does anyone have experience as to what camera model would be the best?

or www.ebay.com for good deals...i suggest you buy a jvc insteadof a cannon, theyre cheaper and the deliver more

god these questions drive me crazy, no offense. go to www.camcorderinfo.com and write down all the possible models. then spend hours reading reviews as to why they are different. thats the way to find the camera would be the best.
