This is a true story about our family dog, Brenna. She was with my dad at a local store about a block away from our house. The owner doesn't like dogs being kept on a leash in his store, so my dad took her off the leash while chatting with the owner. Brenna was laying down, but the owner had opened the front door to let in some air since the day was so hot and eventually my dad noticed that our dog was missing. He asked the owner and customers if they had seen her, but nobody had...then as he looked outside, he noticed Brenna walking down the block towards our house. It's really cute because she just knew exactly where to go to get home and probably decided that she didn't feel like waiting for my dad to get done chatting with the owner.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aU75v

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

I always bring my Great Dane, Marty, to Petco. He likes to pick out his own toys. So I had him in Petco, and there was a 4 lb Miniature Pinscher in the store too. Marty and the Min Pin, Zeus, found each other and were just enamored with each other. Within 5 minutes of them playing, I had, Not Kidding, 20 people at either end of the aisle with cell phones out taking pictures while Zeus was standing on his hind legs so that he might be able t oreach Marty's head. It was a riot. This is the kind of thing I get EVERYWHERE when I take my Great Dane out in public!! It's so much fun

My husband got me a yorkie-po for Christmas a few years back, it was Christmas eve and we still had shopping to do. Being very cold outside and not wanting to leave the tiny puppy in the car, I talked my husband into putting her in the inside pocket of his London Fog, about half an hour went by when my husband came rushing up to me and said he would meet me in the car when I finished shopping. When I asked him why, he told me that the pup was farting and people were staring at him and making comments. Well,...I thought it was funny.

We took our dogs to the river for a swim on a really hot day last summer. There were alot of people with kids wading so we went a ways away from them and let the dogs go for a romp in the water. They love it when we throw sticks into the water they have to swim after but one dog refuses to bring them back.He lays in the water chewing it until the next ones thrown. So I'm on the riverbank hunting suitable sticks to throw when I hear the kids closeby yelling "Look at that dog! Oh GROSS."And parents telling their kids to get out of the water.
So I turn my attention back to the dogs and here's my 80# german shepherd in water about halfway up his legs pooping.
It was'nt long before we had the beach to ourselves.

The best dog in the world....Our black lab loved our severely handicapped daughter so much she became her service dog in most respects. One day they were under the dining room table together while I was making dinner..I saw them playing tug of war with a pink sock, so I just went back to my cooking (the dog was the best baby-sitter ever)...after awhile the dog started making whinny sounds so I checked on them under the table....it was not a pink sock they were playing with, it was the poor dog's TONGUE !!! What a sweet patient dog. When our daughter died at age 15 of kidney failure, the dog would not get off her bed for 3 days, she never was the same after that and died herself 3 months later... they are both up in heaven together playing with socks..... :)

when my pomeranian was almost a year old i was allowing her to sleep outside of her cage on my bed (cage on bed, but open) and one night she became upset at me and stood on my shoulders.... i pushed her away to find that she had been peeing on me.... thank god i have a thick blanket otherwise i'd have been soaked -_-; anyway, thats the only time THAT happened

i know u said short, but here is another one... about 2 monthes ago my pom was on her leash in the back yard and she was barking (we're trying to fix that) anyway, she was barking at the dog in the backyard across from ours (a yellow lab) when all of a sudden she started shreiking... i run out to find that the lab (which was still a puppy, but almost grown) had gotten loose... he was trying to crawl to her and was trying real hard to show her he was no threat and all she could do was shiver in fear... it was just real cute to see such a big dog trying so hard to be friends with such a little dog who barks big but runs at the first sign of anything...

No but I have a little poem. It goes...I have a little friend, who I sometimes spoil, capricious, captivating, loving and loyal
Watching with wordless understanding when we part, his warm brown eyes can melt my heart, perhaps you think it is just a dog on which I dote, But to me he is a little person wearing his own fur coat. I hope you liked it!
