i'm from korean. sometimes another country people , they don't like korean.
Tell me why...explain for me.

There are great koreans n there are some not nice ones, as is the case with other races/nationalities. However, this is my general, personal opinion
Some koreans are very proud of their race and/or country.
I actually respect/like ppl who are proud of their origin/country. However i feel that some koreans overdo it n are too ethnocentric. Race/ethnicity seems to be the overriding factor in their decisionmaking or opinions etc.
There are a lot of other factors in this life than race alone.
Needless to say, i have also met some really nice koreans who do not look mainly at ethnicity :)

I know some Koreans, I like some of them but I hate most of them... It is nothing general about Koreans because this Koreans whom I really don't like them because they did something wrong with me and my friends...
I just want to ask you, Why most Koreans really like to talk about someone behind their back?

they don't like koreans for the Thick " kowian" accent, strictness in confuscian beliefs. and they own small 7-11 like stores in urban/poor areas like Compton/ L.A/ Bed Stuy and people that live there dont like the idea of korean businesses taking all the money from their community by selling alcohol/cigarettes and all kinds of stuff. Remember 1992 LA Riots and the outrage that went on after one korean woman shoots and kills black women and gets aquitted for it.

My step-grandmother was Japanese-Korean, and she taught me how to cook some amazing dishes. She also taught me about being frugal, because she had known horrible poverty in her youth. You will always find prejudice everywhere you go and so you will always find kindness. Try to be positive and you should be okay.

My neighbors are Korean and I have one other friend who is from South-Korea. She's very cool and her mother makes kimshi for me sometimes. ^_^

Don't pay those people any mind. They dislike people because they are different. It's ignorance. People are people.
