The reason I said no milk or soy is because I throw up from milky substances. So yogurt is out as well.

APPLE PIE SMOOTHIE
1 frozen banana
1/2 peeled, chopped apple
1 cup apple juice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
pinch of nutmeg
Blend. Great substitute for applesauce! Control the consistency by adding more or less chopped apple.

HOLIDAY PUNCH SMOOTHIE
2 cups orange juice
2 cups lemon juice
2 cups grenadine syrup
3 quarts ginger ale
1 pint of quartered strawberries or sliced fruit in season
Mix juices and syrup. Pour over block of ice to chill. Just before serving, add ginger ale and fruit.

LEMON FRAPPE
1 (6 ounce) can frozen lemonade or limeade
1/2 cup cold water
1 pint lemon sherbet
1 (12 ounce) can ginger ale
Process first 3 ingredients in container of an electric blender until smooth. Pour into a pitcher; add ginger ale. Serve immediately.

WACKY WATERMELON SMOOTHIE
2 cups seeded watermelon chunks
1 cup cracked ice
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 Tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/8 tsp almond extract
Combine all ingredients in blender container, blend until smooth.

Banana Berry Smoothie

1 large frozen banana
1 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup plain yogurt
3 tablespoons honey
1 cup orange juice

Place all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth.


Peach and Yogurt Smoothie

2 lbs ripe peaches (Peeled if wanted)
1 1/2 cups peach yogurt
mint leaves

Cut up the peaches removing the pits.
Puree the peaches in a blender.
Blend in the peach yougurt.
Add a hint o' mint on the side and serve.


Fruit-Yogurt Swirl

1/2 cup canned pineapple chunks in juice, unsweetened,chilled and
drained
1/2 cup canned sliced peaches, unsweetened,chilled and drained
5 ice cubes
3 whole fresh strawberries
1 medium banana, frozen
8 ounces low-fat vanilla yogurt

Combine all ingredients in container of an electric blender; cover
and process until smooth.
Pour into glasses, and serve immediately.

Ingredients


2 very ripe bananas, pealed
500 ml soy milk
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon banana liqueur
1 tablespoon fresh lemon or lime juice

Recipe directions

The banana should be very ripe. This means there should be some black spots on the banana peel.
First mix the peeled banana with the soymilk in a blender until smooth. Add the sugar, lime or lemon juice, banana liquor and blend again.

Serve this banana smoothie cold with some ice.


Chocolate smoothie
Total servings: 2

Ingredients


500 ml soy milk
2 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon cacao powder
1 teaspoon potato starch
1/2 teaspoon vanilla flavour, or to taste
salt to taste

Recipe directions

Dissolve the potato starch in a bit of water or soymilk. Bring the soy milk to oil. Add the sugar, cacao powder and starch to the boiling soy milk. Boil on low fire for 2 minutes.

The potato starch will make a smooth and thick chocolate drink.

Serve this chocolate smoothie hot or cold.

Fruit , ice, sugar or honey. If you want it without milk or soy, then it would probably tase better if you used a bananna in the recipe
