The sound is designed to be soothing, causing people to eat it. I started eating rice krispies in 1963; the sound was a little more like snap, crackle, pop at that time. Now it is more like quiet smacking.
I guess I must say I eat them religiously, since I am in this site..

Yeah, when you pour the milk in. Gosh, I haven't eaten rice krispies in years... I want some now. I love that sound!

I haven't had rice krispies in so long, I couldn't tell you. But if I talked on the phone too long at breakfast, mostly it was just sog.

I believe that my lord and savior, the high and mighty lord jesus, who died on the cross and was resurrected 3 days later, and who will lead us all to salvation eventually, if we all just mindlessly follow his obsolete rules, places each snap, crackle, and pop individually in his benevolence.

hell yeah get a bowl of rice crisper's and pour some milk in it and listen for your self i use to eat it all the time when i was a kid
