Right now I'm snacking on a few raw almonds. Or try dipping a crispy Fuji apple in Almond butter. Mmmmm... Great protein without the heavy gastrointestinal thud.

Something light, but not meat. meat is a bad idea at this time. salad also isn't the best choice, because fiber takes longer to metabolize. Eat some fruit.
I like snacking on watermelon at night.

Since you are somewhere on the West Coast of US, you should probably have seafood. I suggest a nice succulent rainbow trout caught fresh from the cold, clear waters of the McKenzie River.

Try moving to an urban area. It's 1am where I am and I can think of a dozen places that are open and within 10 minutes of my house.

Two day old pizza, warm it up to soften the crust, grab a cold beer from the fridge and there you go, instant snack and the beer and pizza compliment each other nicely.
if you don't have beer and pizza, try a tuna sandwich, it's high in protein, and makes a nice snack to.

Eat some chicken noodle, or vegetable minestrone with a slice or two of wheat bread. Low cal, and plenty of protein to help you sleep
