With this question you are assuming that beautiful women can't be smart...that right there is contradicting your question when you say that they aren't preoccupied with "female" competitiveness.
I am beautiful and extremely intelligent. I exude confidence. How's that? I am not stuck on myself. People who are confident within themselves do not have to be stuck on themselves. They don't have to flaunt it or make others feel small or less of a person.

Average is way better. Would you really want to date a beauty and always wonder if someone else is trying to take her away just cause of her looks? I'd rather have average and intelligent. They are more likely to value a good thing when they have it. As a matter of fact, I never have and never will date an overly attractive person....wayy too stuck on themselves!

More attractive? If I were picking a doctor or a lawyer, yeah, I would want the one that is more intelligent and confident that they could handle my particular problem.
