Even the most annoying creatures all have a purpose whether it is obvious to us or not. It's a proven fact that throughout history, if one creature -- plant or animal -- is eliminated it can have far-reaching effects on ecological balance. Those June bugs may be the primary food source for some other creature. Or maybe their rotting carcasses provide some unique nutrient in the soil. You never know.
Plus they're great entertainment sources if you tie a thread to one of their legs and let them fly in circles around you!

well some people seem to think all God's creatures have a purpose....The June Bug seems to be knowen as this is really a beetle. It recycles dung and other decaing plants and such and puts it back in the ground to do it's thing in life. It also entertains little kids in the summer.I'm sure it did you or how else would you know they fly around and hit things....hahahaha.

What, bouncing off things isn't purpose enough? Someone or something has to do it and what if it was you, or worse yet, me? That would suck.
So there you have it ... every time you find yourself not bouncing off things remember to thank our unheralded friend, the June Bug.

one sentence
everything has a purpose... ........... what, when, where & why...
makes it no less or more useless
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> history >>>>>
dont worry about it.....you have a purpose,,, just like the june bug
now if the months were reversed..
december, november, october.........................
instead of
January, february, march.........................
the bugs will still be here, they were here
even before the word "JUNE" was created
so why call them june bugs, why not July bugs.
But their purpose remains the same............

They have a very valuable purpose. They serve as good, free entertainment. What you do is grab your kid (or a friends if you don't have any) and put a June Bug down their shirt and watch them squirm.
