A man cannot be genuinely dominant without being a gentleman. Otherwise, his attempts at domination are nothing more than weakness expressed through violence, psychic or physical.

Being a master means being a guide, which depends on compassion, understanding, and empathy. Without those - which are also the keys to being a gentleman - a man can overwhelm and force, but he cannot truly dominate.

Of course, depending on the man.

For example, dining out is one of the biggest ways for a man to show his class.

Always open the door and pull out the chair for the lovely lady. Napkin on the lap, no elbows on the table...etc.

Being out in public is the time and place to have class, but once you are in private, that is when the guy can let loose a little and be "dominant".

Being dominant means taking control, being in charge, being the leader. A guy can do all these things while still being a gentleman by being polite and not doing or saying anything unusual.

I believe it also depends on the woman, how she interprets things, her sense of fun and class.

I hope that answers your question, I might have just been rambling on. :)

I assume you mean bedroom domination, so the answer is yeah. Domination has mutually agreed to rules, like a safety word, so if he isn't a gentleman and doesn't respect you before you submit, you're in danger. Part of the fun of domination is testing the limits, and this is only safe with a gentleman.

Yes.... but that really depends on how far the game goes. If it is extreme (which is obviously subjective) then a man's good training and respectful behaviour has to step in - before something goes very wrong,,,,

A lady, or a gentleman has respect and dignity for themselves and their partner - so you 'can' go too gar to please a partner and that would mean comprimising principles - a bad thing of course.

You need to be more specific with your question. You ask if a guy can know the meaning of domination, that doesn't mean he can BE dominating. You are asking people a question that many don't know the answer to but think they do. IM me and we can get down to business, conversation-wise.

Absolutely. A man can be a gentleman in public and behind doors he can be domineering. It's a very sexy mixture.

Of course...Can a woman be a lady, and allow herself to be dominated?

A gentleman respects the role of the dominant...and knows its place.

Absolutely. Domination is a role playing game, a fantasy. It can adds to the sexual pleasures in the bedroom, or dungeon but it doesn't mean that he can't treat you like the woman you are out in public. Public humiliation is uncalled for and unattractive. I hope you don't need that in your life.
