I went to the hospital a few nights before and my CNA was very nice to me. I sent $70 worth of roses, a teddy bear and a note to the hospital addressed to her asking if she would be my wife.
Question: Is that too forward a gesture? Granted, I would love to be with someone like her, but I barely know her, and don't even know if she's single (I'm assuming she is, though)?
Also, I was given lots of morphine before this and barely noticed how cute she was, but she seemed nice and was blonde, too.
Was I foolish to do this, or is this a good way to find a wife (assuming she responds nicely to it)?
Also, this is probably the most forward, bold thing I've ever done to try to win a woman's heart.
Will it work? Any ideas?

Yes, but was she a CNA, not an RN. I'm certain she was single.

I can't remember much of anything from last night. She asked me if I was a father, and I said,"No." and she smiled and said,"well, happy father's day anyway."

Hmmm, I would have laughed it off because as your nurse, I would have seen your face and other body parts (hehe!).
It's nice to know that there's a real passionate man out there who performs these grand gestures just to compliment a beautiful woman.
At any rate, just in case she's an easily frightened kind of person, I would follow up on it and drop by at the hospital again and explain and apologize about your forwardness. Let her know that you are sorry (even if you aren't) and by doing so, she will know that you're not a psycho and that you know your manners.
Be casual but sincere. Since you are the one who committed a faux pas, let her know that you are at her disposal and that if she would come to dinner with you at such and such restaurant, you will be more than grateful. (hehe...you're so romantic...i can't get over this..) :-)
Good luck!!

If she was at all attracted to you, she ain't now. I could go on and on, but what you really need is professional help on this issue.

Buy that audio program. Listen to it...more than once. Start acting on what it says and I guarentee you will know exactly why what you did was so incredibly stupid. You will learn what is correct and why and a whole new world will open up to you with regard to women. The truth about women and what to do with them is dramatically different than what you have been programmed to believe. It is in your best interests to learn the truth and see that truth in action. After you see it, you can start acting on this knowledge. And the next time you meet a nurse you want to make yours, you will be able to do so.

I don't want rain on your parade or anything but that's a very bold move and will probably scare her off. I'd be afraid that you were a stalker or something. you shouldn't go looking for a wife, you should look for a date first then gradually grow a relationship. maybe if you asked her on a date it'd be a little less creepy. she might have liked it though, or thought it was a joke. who knows, but good luck with that.

I think you probably scared her with the marriage talk when you don't even know each other! Maybe simply giving her your phone number or asking her out for coffee would have been a better first step. Good luck!

She probably will not take you seriously thinking it's just the after effect of too much morphine.

well, yea i think it a bit much, because you can't marry someone if u don't even know who she is....even if you did ask her, she would probably say no, im sorry to tell you but it's probly true. girl's dont say "yes" to a regular patient so im sorry i dont think it will work out...
