any ideas my foxie gets fleas and dry skin, any home made remidies would be much appreciated

this isnt really a home remidy, but it's a cheap way to get rid of fleas and is good for sensitive skin.

Just buy some standard wool wash and wash him in that.
My mum uses it on her dogs all the time, and it works wonders on his dry flakey skin.

Dawn dishwashing liquid, the original;fleas do not like it. As for the dry skin, try increasing the fish oil in the dogs diet or brewers yeast tablets. Good Luck

There is also a product you can buy at Wal-Mart or Target back in the area with the pesticides for the season, its made from cedar oil, safe for you to even spray on childrens skin.

put two teaspoons of vinager in your foxies water everyother day for 4 days. Its a great flea remedy, and alot cheaper than flea medications

Just make sure your dog is big/old enough for flea shampoo/meds. Alot of tiny dogs/or even sensitive dogs die from the chemicals.

dawn dish detergent !!! that is what a vet told me one time and it really does work just make sure to rinse it all off because if you don't it will dry to the dogs skin and irritate his skin giving the dog a rash !!! hope this helps
