juice em up. I plow through so many fruits and vegetables that way and it is soooo good.
If you don't have a juicer...make some pie.
Jack Lalane Juicer is the best thing that has ever happened to me.
Soooo funny how you went crazy at the farmers market...I am still laughing because I can relate so well.
Awesome!

BLT sandwiches with the tomatoes. Make a peach cobbler. Nectarines are great all by themselves, or cut them up into yogurt. Use a melon baller on the watermelon and cantaloupe, and mix [might want to go back and get a honeydew, too]. Bread and fry those cucumbers, serve with horseradish/sour cream dip like the expensive appetizers in the restaurant.[I use the Italian seasoned bread crumbs in a can from the grocery]. Layer the avocad oes, tomatoes, cukes with slices of mozzarella cheese, drizzle with Italian dressing mixed with a little sugar. Could add some black olives to that. Cherry pie or cobbler, or mix the cherries with sugar a little lemon juice, cook them on the stove, and use them for a topping for ice cream or brownies or chocolate cake.[Please do not make cherries jubilee at home, leave the flambe to a professional chef]. A little kirsch in the cherries might be good.
Wrap a slice of ham or proscuitto aroung the cantalope, and serve it for breakfast. Some people like ice cream or cottage cheese in a halved cantalope. Hope this gives you an idea.

The fruit could all be pitted and cut into bite sized chunks. Good eating on a hot day when you don't want to cook.
You can fry tomatoes, make tomato sandwiches (alone or with meat and/or cheese) or try a tomato pie (never heard of it? it is a favorite in our house).
Cukes are good peeled, seeds scooped out , salted and eaten raw. Also good in any garden salad or macaroni salad.
Avocadoes are good in a salad or a guacamole dip.
These solutions are good for a few of each. if bought in quantity, either can, freeze or sun dry what is not eaten or given away.

If the produce is ripe.....you will want to process it into something.......like the fruit for example...if it is ripe....refrigerate it ....it can keep for weeks in a clean refrigerator.....just keep them away from leafy vegetables...and easily molding vegetables.....those with a low acidity......step one...keep the eggplant, cucumbers, avacadoes and bellpeppers away from the rest.....a good still frozen granite will preserve your fruit.....Recipe...one pound of fruit to one cup of sugar and one cup of water....heat all in sauce pan until first boil....let cool...add juice of one lemon....puree...strain and freeze...scrape with a fork when ready to serve.....a very home-easy recipe for Italian ice.......or freeze mixture in ice cube trays and puree like regular ice in margaritas......throw a party....whew!!!!!!!!!!!1

Freeze what you can. Cut fruit up and make smoothies or put it on top of ice cream. Lots of salads. Enjoy your bounty--it sounds so good right now!
