frankly it is Christians that seem to be answering the scathing questions from non-Christians. So they may be naive... but perhaps you are ignorant??

I think that you need to throw the word some or many before the word christian.
It is not all of them that think this way and that is how the question is posed.
I am not religious but I do know many who are and they do not act as foolishly as many of the christians on this forum do.
Just make sure that you don't make sweeping allogations about a whole group of people because it is not fair to the ones that don't act that way.

In my opinion, I just think that some people are using their religion as an excuse to promote hostility against those who aren't like them.Another reason may very well be that they are using their religion as a crutch to remain ignorant because they lack the mental capabilities to think for themselves.Unfortunately, it's a 'time honored tradition' with the christians.

We do not ask scathing questions. Maybe we are hated because ignorant people like you are stereotypical and do not know anything.

There is nothing wrong with asking a question of someone about their beliefs. Not everyone is intolerant of others beliefs. I'm not. I ask questions out of curiosity. Each person has the right to his or her opinions and belief. If you don't like the answers you get, re-phase your question or don't ask them.
