He is dreaming, just like you, so it is natural.
Get a fan and let it run all night, put it at a setting that will cover the dog's growls and barks. You can point it at a corner of the room so it won't blow on you. After a while the body ignores a constant low noise. I have trouble sleeping for 17 years and I use a fan so little noises don't bother me.
Otherwise exile your dog and put their bed in another room.

all i can suggest is turning a fan on during the night,it might muffle some of the noise, which is what i do ...or try putting him in a different room. ive heard if u wake them when theyre dreaming they can bite u with out realizing whats going on.so be careful with that. i hope this helps ya.

If it bothers you, leave him outside your room. You could use a baby gate to keep him out, yet he can still see you.
Dogs dream too, pretty hard to make him stop. Why would you want to take a seemingly enjoyable thing from him?
My dogs will sometimes bay/howl in their sleep and I think they are giving some dream bunny a good chase.

He's dreaming about chasing cats! :)
I don't think dogs ever really stop doing this, just like a lot of people talk in their sleep when they dream. I've done it since I was a kid. I don't do it as much as I was a kid, but I occasionally talk so loudly that I wake my husband up. if it's bothering you so much, I'd suggest not letting him sleep in your room anymore.

You can't stop him from dreaming anymore than you can stop yourself from dreaming. After a while, you learn to sleep through it. A fan to muffle his noises is a good idea, short term.

dont think you can get them to stop dreaming, just like people you cant control it. but with my dog if she is getting loud or waking me up, i get out of bed and pet her a bit to wake her up, then she usually goes back to sleep well, or if it is real loud or bothersome, put the dog in another room to sleep.

Always. We had one that "sings" and "chases" stuff when he's sleeping. He even growled so loud he woke himself up... confused!
