To redeem the world or buy it back with His blood. Blood covenants started in the Garden of Eden continued in Jewish temples and concluded with Christs life, death and resurrection.

Long ago, in a galaxy far far away... Commander Christ was patrolling a lone star system in the Terran Quadrant when he saw all these ************ idolatrous, violent thugs having WAY too good of a time without having one clear and unified source of wisdom for their spiritual and cosmic origins. SO... he moved some mountains turned some water into wine brought some people back from death, and the brink of death, gave everyone a new standard for what was possible if people distanced themselves from confusion and falsehood, and then got mad one day when he saw people selling crap in his adopted family's church, went apeshit and got executed shortly thereafter. Mission roughly accomplished!!!

His mission in this world was simple. He came to teach us love and to help everyone. His love was there for everyone no matter what religion or social background they were. He was crucified for that reason because he didn't follow others hate for on another.
All we have to do is love each other and help to understand the teachings of Christ.

Christ came to this world to show us how to lead a perfect life and to atone for our sins. He is the Son of God, and so he is the only person to have ever lived on this earth that was/is completely and totally perfect. He suffered in Gethsemane for our sins so that we would have the opportunity to repent and become clean before God. He died and was resurrected on the third day so that we, too, can one day receive our bodies again in their perfect state. His life was one of love. He loved those who killed him. Even as he was hanging on the cross he begged His Father to forgive those who were killing them.
I'm not forcing you to believe what I believe. I know we all have different beliefs, but that is what I believe His mission was (in a paragraph summary).

The Christ-Redeemer concept was not to make us perfect but to fulfill the needs of the human creation. Forgiveness and renewal is the concept of Jesus and the groups that use his name can invoke his law. "Where are your accusers now".

Jesus Christ died on the cross to save everyone from their sins, to give us another chance at living, to free us. While he walked on the grounds of the earth he wanted followers, and to save people, to make new Christians, just as he wants his followers to do today. He wants people to preach about Him, so we can save others.

To give us a clearer understanding of The Law, To display The Light & The Way for those of us who would want to walk in His footsteps, To restore faith in the Laws of His Father & share with us The Beatitudes & Lastly, because it was written that there would come a Messiah who would walk amongst us & die for our sins, so that we might accept Him as Our Savior & be saved!

John 3:16-18
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son."
