One question with so many answers. I agree that if she acts overly irritated with you, she wants space. Also if she leaves the room when you enter, sits on the other end of the couch, is up moving around the apt/house to avoid being in one spot, focuses on a book or the computer.
A smart move would be to suggest, and maybe arrange, a night out without you. She'll get some "space" and you'll be the good guy.

I think the best sign is her not wanting to be with you as much. If she seems to be busy all the time or doesn't feel well quite a bit, those are good signs. She may also be dropping hints that she is bored with you, that you should be able to see! She may tell you or it could be that she will say she wants you both to see other people. Good luck!
