A great question. Can I ask you one in return? Do you know that when you're one with everything you have infinite potential? Jesus was one with everything when he performed miracles. =D
I have worked long and hard on being able to become one with all that is around me at any and all time. But it is definitely easier when Im in a gorgeous nature setting, however Ive not yet had the joy of sitting by the river on a full moon.
p.s. I got your message, Marie but I couldn't reply because you "hadnt verified your email" it said. =(

Rivers are nice but lakes are better & bays are even better but without a doubt, the ocean is the best, in my book. Didja know that during the height of the dog days of summer, one can sit by the oceanside (bearing in mind that you're on an eastern coastal beach) & just as the sun begins to rise, it first appears as a huge green ball in its first moments of rising, due to the sunlight filtering through the wavetops!!

Yes and when I look at my reflection in the water, lit by the moon, I truly feel blessed as a child of nature because the moon and I are together and the connection is awesome.

I was in Afghanistan after a rocket attack, not a very scary one but the first I had experienced. I remember wondering why it fell over there instead of on me. I stared at the moon and stars, it is so clear over there. I felt like I had experienced truly being in the spirit, not being afraid, and without any pain. It was wonderful. God Bless

Yes I have, it was a lake actually and when it got dark I counted the stars and thought how beautiful they were and how lucky i was to live in my little bit of the world. The wine helped too!!

Yes, about 13 times a year I do exactly that... although sometimes it is near a lake, sometimes it is in the woods, sometimes in my back yard.

Ocean used to give me such connection with the nature. It made sense of everything including my own existence for me. 'Hope it was a wonderful uplifting experience for you, too. Thanks for the memory! It was sometime ago.

yes. its like an out of body experience. you lose touch with your physical body and can only feel the part of you that is your soul or your essence. i recommend everyone try it at least once in their life.
