Your girlfriend just wanted to talk to you, so she waited for you get home...She explained she had a headache...Would you tell her to go to bed and if she said no...would you still insist on it or would you talk to her and be happy that she was she wanted to stay up and talk to you? I would get her to lie down on my lap on the couch and let her talk as much as she wanted to, as long as she is comfortable

And as we talk i will gently massage her head to soothe the ache.... Talking is the most essential part of a relationship.. People dont realise this, but i surely do...
There is a saying that - "Marry someone whom you can talk with, cos when you are old and wrinkled, talking is what matters most!"
But it should be mutual, i mean, you should not insist too much when he doesnt wanna talk and same for him too... But sometimes, you can sense the need in your partner(that he/she really needs to talk), and on such times, you have to talk whether or not you want...

If you stayed up it would imply that you wanted to talk regardless of your headache so I would probly just keep the conversation light and hope that chatting would make you feel better. I wouldn't be happy you missed me, rather very unhappy that you had to miss me.

I'd be one hell of a happy camper if she missed me and wanted to talk to me even if she didn't feel well, but if she was not feeling well and she was asleep, I'd be happy to see her resting in bed, too.

some times men need space, and women dont always understand that.
