The government makes contingency plans for lots of stuff. Almost and federal facility could be used to detain people. Here is a link you should get a chuckle from. Talk about paranoid.

I don't know what you mean about 'concentration camps'. They are building and converting more detention space to hold illegals until deportation. One reason enforcement has been such a joke is that there was nowhere to put the illegals until deportation or until the judge issued an order. People were let go and told to return for their court date, but never did. They are putting up a lot more detention space, some designed specifically so families can stay together. This would not be somewhere people would stay long term, however.

currently two of our marines in Iraq are missing. Al Quida claims to be holding them prisoner. Are they in a concentration camp, a small one? If they are being held prisoner, they are being held in direct conflict with the geneva convention rules. Why are you people still complaining about gitmo? do you think our guys in gitmo will start the beheadings before evening prayer or after? It won't happen. They are being held by Americans, we have higher standards than the geneva convention rules outline. Some of you people still don't get it. but you'll figure it out when you are running around in turbans and bourquas as opposed to having the freedom of wearing your jeans skin tight and going braless under your sweaters. Maybe you will adjust well to praying to allah four times a day and kissing the ground.
Maybe the camps are there to hold the 2100 child molesters, rapist, and murderers that were rounded up last week. Or do you think we should have them talk to a shrink and then set them free in your state?

I am sorry but what you are referring to is called "Indians Reservations" And if you will read the writings of Mr.Hitler you will discover that it was these"reservations in america that gave him the Idea for the concentration camps."
You can't believe this is something YOUR country would be part of,,,,,HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA.
Look up "THE sand creek massacre"and wounded knee where they opened fire over Indians dancing.
Oh there were also camps used during the war but,,these people being pow's were treated much better than any reservation people ,as a matter of fact ,they were treated better than most americans.

These concentration camps were used to house Japanese Americans and Japanese immigrants during WWII. It was done to "protect" Americans from what they saw as "Yellow Peril." After Pearl Harbor there were many injustices done to Japanese Americans.
They lost their homes, properties, farms, jobs, etc. They were separated from family members. Japanese Americans lived in these camps for years! At one point they actually told them they were being made to live in these camps for their own protection! Amazing huh?
After all was said and done, Japanese Americans received an apology, $2,000 and a bus ride "home" though, most had nothing more to go back to and had to start over again.

The camps were built during WWII for the Japanese civilian American citizens who were blamed for the Pearl Harbor attack.
They were displaced swiftly so they don't spy for the Japs.
But I didn't know they still exist...

the conspiracy websites which show pictures and talk about executive orders are conspiracy websites. In dire situations, such as ebola outbreaks, nuclear war or UFO attacks, the government can and will declare martial law, quarantine individuals or entire communities, and do what it must to protect itself.
These things are highly unlikely to happen.

They don't exist. Trust me we would know about them with commercial satelites and the press. And illegals are just taken back across the border. Just learn not to believe every thing you see.

They were nothing like Germany. Your assuming they all have ovens.
They were used to house japanese to make sure they wouldn't fight for their country on us soil. They apologized years later.
