I tried Picasa and I couldn't resize the pictures. Right now I'm using Corel PaintShop Pro, but it's a trial. I'd like a free program that I can use.

Try IrfanView, its the best viewer ever! Everything in one package, resizing, batch rename and conversion, color correction, convert to grayscale, crop, rotate, and everything you cuold ask for, and then some. Available free!

To start with, you camera can likely be set to take pictures in a file size and format that can be emailed without resizing. Read your owners manual to see how to change the photo file size.

u can use GIMP, its a freeware, totally free and lets u do almost everything that can do with PSP [paintshop pro]

I use Serif PhotoPlus. Its like a free mini-mini-mini-photoshop.

paint cant do much but it can do that
it comes with windows in the accessories menu
