And most of them sound ignorant too. It gets pretty annoying, doesn't it?

I agree Darkness. This site attracts a lot of people, but there are a select few who seem to think that throwing quote scripture down out throats on every question might brainwash us enough to take them seriously. I for one rebell against anyone who pushes thier views on me. We are all free to state what we want, and to argue a point, but I'm about tired of all the bible- babies hiding behind a book and not expanding thier minds. Apparently they seek to elevate themselves or give themselves a huge ego boost by thinking they've bested us all with biblical quotes.
Not one of them is better than me, nor am I better than them, all are equal or all are nothing.

I guess we just need something to back up what we tell the people who have questions on here.
we use it to back up the advise we give on here instead of just giving some lame @$$ advise that we just pulled out of our *** so we could get 2 points!!! yes!!
haha im just kidding about that, but no seriously, when I quote the bible on here, usually its stuff that I have searched for and found after reading the question, Its not like I have it memorized all the time (although it would be better if I did ) :)
hope that helps you understand a little bit better :)

Here's what you had to say about "The DaVinci Code" on another question thread:
"It means there is a good possiblility that a lot of the christian faith is not true"
You said this, even though the author of the book and the producers of the movie have all admitted that "DaVinci" is fiction.
So .... would you care to explain how a book or movie whose creators have admitted are fiction could possibly show that "the Christian faith is not true"?

As a Christian, I believe the Bible to be inerrant. (I know that's a whole new discussion). Since the Bible is inerrant, what better source to refer to when answering questions. I don't consider this to be "hard-core"
I know that my answer is based on a belief that you do not hold. But this is the reason I cite the Bible.

It's about time, don't you think so. Once you find him you also will quote his good word! Thank God for these hard core Christians because he is not dead but alive and he lives in most true christians.

Yuck yuck yooo, yuck yuck yooo, sayeth another idiot. And now for a commercial announcement: Exodus 22:18, "You shall not permit a witch to live."
Yes dear, I'm coming to bed soon.
What a witch.
Most of my Christian friends can justify damned near anything with scripture. Look at ol Pat Robertson of the Xtian 700 tallie bond. He wants to off an elected head of state and steal their oil. Nice Christial, please don't bite me.
Quote that book, you can't argue with God.

This question was just answered five minutes ago. If there were not so many morons trying to attack our faith... there would not be a need for Christians to be here outside of personal witnessing issues.

I think they all have passages typed out so that when someone asks a question, and rather than think of something for themselves, they cut and paste and say, "see, the bible said so....." Forgetting that the bible was WRITTEN BY MAN!!!!!
