You are correct. Black women are beautiful. :) I've been married twice both to black men and dated nothing but black men all my life. I went to a predominately white college and was attracted to quite a few white guys back then but was afraid of what other people would think. I also didn't want to give in to what I thought was that "jungle fever" curiosity that I heard most white guys had. After my second divorce I had pretty much given up on the love life but I had a gorgeous 6'2" blond hair blue eyed gentleman ask me out and I haven't regretted saying yes yet. What I like about this white man specifically is that he's a gentleman first and foremost, very chivalrous (he always opens the door) and doesn't come across as controlling like most black men do when they think they have you in their back pocket. He's not intimidated by the fact that I am a successful and very attractive black woman and he is secure with himself. (More than I can say about some black men). He respects me and is the absolute best lover I have ever had in my entire life - so ladies the myth is not necessarily true! Funny though, when we're together I don't even notice that he is white (sounds ridiculous I know). However, I am constantly reminded that we are of different races when we get stared and gawked at by both blacks and whites. I'm not sure if other black women would date white men. I think some may be afraid of what society, family or friends would think. I've seen plenty of interracial couples and it always surprised me to see a black woman with a white man. I wondered, why would a black woman do such a thing? Now I know. I should have dated white men years ago...

There are plenty of beautiful black women who date white men. I am one of them. The majority of men that I have dated have been handsome (I’m talking Josh Hartnett/Brad Pitt fine) white men. I have been in very long relationships with white men. I have also declined two marriage proposals by professional white men. I have never had a problem getting a date; however I am very educated, well traveled, and gorgeous. White men...to be quite honest… all men adore me. I've dated Hispanics, Arabs, whatever. A man is a man regardless of color and the same goes for woman. My high school sweet heart was Asian...and he was hot...all the girls wanted him. I think the biggest reason why more white men will not pursue black woman is because they're afraid of rejection. It's hard enough to approach someone from your own race...but it's even harder outside of your race. Especially because you don't know if that person is open to interracial dating. There are allot of black woman who may be afraid of how their friends and family will react...but those are the ones you don't want. Interracial relationships take strength and diligence because family/friend pressure can be overwhelming. My last serious boyfriend was half Pilipino/ half white and he approached me. I loved his family and vice versa. The first thing he said to me was, " I don't know what kind of guys you usually date or if I'm even your type. But I would like for you to give me a chance to get to know you and see what happens". I feel in love with him and we were together for 3.5 years until I found out he cheated. But that's another post. Bottom line... At the end of day, I do exactly what makes me happy. You should too.

I would date a white guy...and I believe most black women don't have anything against dating a white guy...They just want a guy who will respect them and love them...no matter what color he is.

I am attracted to white guys, and I have quite a few of them as friends from college and work. I find it fun just hanging out and talking to them. I would like to date one of them, but when I find one that I like, he usually has a gf, which ruins my chances. Glad to c one decent white man that loves a nubian princess! : ) (Ur question makes me think that ur trying to pick up a nubian princess in Yahoo! answers.) Hey, u can email me sometime if ya want to chat.
